This is the front side of Church Agioi Theodoroi, a beautiful small building of 11th century, in a central point of Athens.
Today, it was a very cold but also very sunny day, and there were some tourists visiting the church.

And this it the back side, a quiet (and relaxing for the eyes) place to have a coffee (in summer!).

A balcony with beautiful flowers, despite the deep winter cold, in a house near metro station Aghios Antonios, in Peristeri.

angyra Editions

An old house on Solonos street (a street full of bookshops) has been renovated and is now used as a -children books mainly- bookshop by the Angyra Editions. The back yard has been covered by a glass-roof and transformed into a cosy little coffee shop.

white bond

The bride and the groom are tied by a white bond during the ceremony.
These ones have two friends, a best man and a best woman, standing on their sides.

Sunday noon marriage

This is Metamorfosi tou Sotiros Church, in Chalandri.
Yesterday we were invited to a friend's marriage there, at 13:00.
People (and the groom) were waiting for the bride to come, in a sunny but freezing cold day.

last year' s snow

No, not this winter...! This is a last year's photo, last February, in Ilion.
A quite rare scene for Athens - its not a usual thing in this city the roads to be closed and people not to go to work!
A nice chance for snow playing and... taking photos from the balcony!!

Korai Square

This might not be what one would call a nice picture, but it is one I thought to share with people the very moment I saw it: a series of empty free-press boxes, ugly but colorful. Only if you could see them full, every morning at 07:30, and people passing and grabbing the morning papers…
