I've been in Athens long time ago, but really can't remember all these trees outside the parks. It seems more green now than fifteen years ago, is it possible?

I am new in town, Vogon Poet, and my thirsty for beauty eyes, do see much green in Athens! People around are always complaining, but I think there are many green oasis here, if you want to see them.

The temperature here, MaCoBra almost reached 20 (and more)already. I dread the heat that is coming again with the summer... We spend the whole summer exausted, longing for shadows and air.
One is never satisfied with one has, this is the problem!

I envy green, wet countries in north Europe, that is why I see every green little piece in Athens, I think.

Please keep on posting your oasis. I think all of us are trying to show the better side of our places.

Athens, the capital of Greece, with more than 3.000.000 people....
It's not just ancient ruins and pollution.
Its' also the suburbs, everyday people, gardens, bitter orange trees.
