This looks like a nice place for coffee and conversation with friends. Do they allow smoking in this cafe? Here in the U.S. smoking is not allowed in restaurants.

I think that smoking is not allowed here either. Sorry, I am not a smoker, neither are most of my near people, so I do not know many details about it!

I love the sound of Greek word: tristrato. I don't smoke either but it so strange a cafe in Athens without smoke!

Looks like fine place to hide from the sun for a while. I once sat 8 hours (!) at a cafe in Plaka. It was 48C and after we walked down from Acropolis we found the perfect place and when we left we knew everyone there.

Athens, the capital of Greece, with more than 3.000.000 people....
It's not just ancient ruins and pollution.
Its' also the suburbs, everyday people, gardens, bitter orange trees.
